As a 'Burgher I was immediately suspicious when the Duquesne school community expressed dismay that "outsiders" had been responsible for the shooting.  ::)  We now have 3 arrests in the case.

A woman who is (well WAS, she just got thrown out) a student at Duquesne, who describes herself as "part lady, part thug", intentionally invited men to the dance who were packing weapons.  She too was packing.  Even worse, her mother apparently is a respected Doctoral student at the school. {Gotta imagine she's PO'd big time over this).

Apparently the woman and her "thug life" friends did not know how to get their jollies except by shooting other people in the back.  >:(

Let's hope that the Pennsylvania Justice System puts them all in the pokie for a Loooooooooong time so that the rest of us civilized 'Burghers (not to mention the Dukes basketball team) can be safe.

One source describes Brittany Jones as a "Hurricane Katrina victim."  The media demonized those people just by dint of them being poor with no place to go.  Now Ms. Jones may have given the haters a  personification of "Katrina Victims."  I can just hear Neil Boortz or Glenn Beck, "Oh, why don't the liberals just send some more Katrina survivors over here to shoot us. Nyuk nhyuk nyuk!"  Thanks for helping Brittany!  Well, let's hope the courts go easy on her so she can start her career as an internet porn star.
