This thing pissed me off big time - I was surfing the Net in peace, and this piece of crap, WinAntiVirus (aka WinFixer, and several aliases), are popping up spontaneously on my tube and displays rather exaggerated assessments about my system, like "spyware infections", "crashes", etc, and forces me to download and pay that forsaken WinFixer thing (i.e. extortion). The website spoofs the Windows Security Center thing, giving the impression that the product is legitimate. But we all know that legitimate software publishers DO NOT make spontaneous or surprise adverts, as well as using extorition and "force the user to get this" tactics, which is too unethical and is a violation of consumer rights. I consider this as a form of terrorism and as an act of foolishness. If there was a real white hacker who would invade and vanquish those lousy bastards, I would be very grateful. Any comments on this??

So, are there any one of you who supports my fight against this malware? Besides, who's the bastard who started this software scam anyway?

Yikes looks like a serious malware problem. If you had this installed on your computer did you manage to get rid of it or is there some residue left over ?

There is a website called castlecops. They can help you out in getting rid of it.
This website is in the trenches when it comes to fighting new and old malware, spyware, and viruses. They don't like malware either.

I use Mozilla Firefox with a pop-up blocker and I have no problems like that.  I refuse to use Internet Explorer.
