Me too!  I want to eventually get a DVR and transfer what I have on tape to DVD.  It's mostly programs I taped off the TV years ago that aren't going to be re-run anytime soon.

that's just a trick. if you try to buy one, they kill YOU.

it's the only way to make sure VHS is really dead. make sure and liquidate everyone who knows anything about it.

He looks great in drag. Have you seen the pictures for "Hairspray"?

BTW, I can't believe they're doing it again. The original was great, and I know this one is based on the stage play, but damn. Why again? :P

I also convert them to DVD, though for good not evil

I still collect rare video tapes, though mostly music videos and animation I doubt would be released on DVD anytime soon...

I have over 4000 original (store bought) VHS movies and TV shows ranging in age from the first VHS movies to be released in Australia (around 1980/1981 on Roadshow Home Video) to 2001. Now Ive bought most of the movies that are available on DVD and have bought a DVD recorder to copy the ones that are currently unavailable on DVD o that format. The rarest VHS movies I own are Blood Beach and Dance Me To My Song.

We are devoted fans of VHS and VCRs. We still have more then a 100 video tapes. My mom joined Columbia House Videos in the '80s and that is how we got most of them and now we have switched to the DVD club so we are replacing all of our old tapes with DVDs. We still have 5 VCRs too.

You gotta admit, VHS sure held on for a long time.

Poor Beta wasn't so fortunate.  http://www.inthe00s.com/smile/02/behead.gif
