Excellent picture and story of a soldier in Iraq whose iPod took the brunt of an insurgent's bullet. Apple is rumored to be sending him a new one.

That's a great story, and I hope he does get a new one, if for no other reason that all the free advertising Apple have gotten out of it.
On a more cynical note, as someone who has suffered at the hands of Apple's atrocious customer care, I now see that perhaps simply having one of their products have a fault was not good enough, I needed to be shot before applying for service :P ;D
