I didn't post this in the Politics section, because I am trying very hard to keep politics out of it (I know, I can be unrealistic at times)
However, I want to use this thread to simply thank those of you who are veterans and to send my prayers to the families of those with whom you served who died.

Yeah, I called my brother who was in Operation Desert Storm and has P.T.S.D.
I also left a message on my Cousin Andrea's myspace. She just got done doing two tours in Iraq.

I hope for all of the military to come home safe.
I am touched by Memorial Day coverage, the playing of Taps, the pictures of lost service men and women.
Then Bush had to give a speech. >:( It was ruined. :\'(
