Subject: where are they now?

Written By: Tia on 06/15/07 at 10:46 am

an exciting thread where you inform everyone of erstwhile celebrities who have met interesting fates.

For instance, Tia (kim richards) is now a single mom living in LA and just had a role in a new film. Tony (ike eisenmann) is a sound engineer who sometimes does voiceover work for animated t.v. and movies. He’s changed his name to “iake eissinmann,” which is, let’s face it, rather strange. And billy thorpe is allegedly selling dollhouses.

I think "where are they now?" deserves a board of its own, not just a thread like this.

Where are they now???

Michael J. Fox was a household name
In 1985
And what about young Mallory
And all of the Family Ties?
I hear they all robbed liquor stores
And are in jail now for life

Kirk Cameron had Growing Pains
Sex symbol of the year
Problem solved so squeaky clean
In half an hour clear
I hear he's been washing dishes
For the last couple of years

Laughter tracks and '80s stars
Predictable jokes
I don't have to tell you what happened
To the kids from Diff'rent Strokes

Punky Brewster's 15 minutes
Lasted for years before it got old
You're never quite so cute
And I should know
Once puberty takes its toll

And no one knows their whereabouts
What they do or what they did
Chew 'em up and spit 'em out
Like all of the Cosby kids

It's the toughest game and the hardest time
It's the longest walk on the thinnest line
Its sad and true that they love then kill
Where do they go when they die?
To the big '80s sitcom in the sky
Michael J Fox was a household name
In 1985
(Ben Lee's Household Name)

I've just found out Philip Michael Thomas aka Detective Rico Tubbs from Miami Vice is Lance Vance's voice in Grand Theft Auto.
From cop to drug dealer is a thin thin line  ::)

Donnelly Rhodes.  Anyone remember him?

http://gfx.filmweb.pl/p/67677/foto.gif

In the 80s, he had a starring role as Dr. Grant Roberts on the Canadian dramatic/adventure series "Danger Bay" (which ran for 5 seasons; 1984-1990).  He is also best remembered for his roles as Philip Chancellor II on "The Young and the Restless" (appearing one season; 1974-1975), as Dutch Leitner on "Soap" (appearing for 3 seasons; 1978-1981), plus countless guest appearances in dozens of American dramas and sitcoms from the 60s through to the 90s

He is still a working actor, known recently in his homeland for his co-starring role as Detective Leo Shannon on the Canadian drama series "Da Vinci's Inquest" (which ran for 7 seasons; 1998-2005).  He currently has a recurring role as Dr. Cottle on "Battlestar Galactica"
