The reason that we have picked the Spice Girls single 'Stop' is because this was the only Spice Girl song not to get to number one in the charts.

There has been many rumours of a Spice Girls reunion and on the 28th June the girls announced that they were coming back to do a final goodbye. The girls will be touring the world throughout December 2007 and January 2008.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Its nostalgia, and they had a ton of fans back then. Better to do it now while they are still young instead of waiting years down the road when it would be more of a joke.

Emma is my favourite.  Her solo work was great!

Their reunion is for a Greatest Hits package that will feature new songs.  I wonder if it will go beyond that for more albums to fill a Greatest Hits - Volume 2 many years from now ?

This is everywhere now, and they are really risking a backlash because this is now being forced on people. They aren't allowing a decent buzz to build and gauge the public's reaction based on that.

I was considering downloading this and contributing to getting the song to number one on the charts(even though I think trying to get an old Spice Girls song on the charts is a pretty lame promotional tactic), but after seeing this crap everywhere when its obviously all fabricated, I have decided not to download it.

It isn't a new song. Thats what adds to the lameness of this whole thing. They're trying to to get an old single that didn't go to the top of the charts at number one. They want everyone to download it at specific sites so it will count towards the charts.

My preference would be "Goodbye"

In Canada, that was their biggest hit with 13 wks at #1 and 46 weeks total in the chart.  It was also their only #1 in Canada
