Subject: Dubai Skyscraper is the world's tallest

Written By: Philip Eno on 07/22/07 at 9:39 am

An unfinished skyscraper in the Persian Gulf state of Dubai has become the world's tallest building, its developers say.

Emaar Properties said the 512m (1,680ft) Burj Dubai is now taller than Taiwan's 508m (1,667ft) Taipei 101.

It is thought Burj Dubai will eventually be 693m (2,275ft) tall.

Read and see the skyscraper here.

That's the Dick Cheneys of America are going.  They need some financial distract/luxury resort away from democracy and close to the oil.  Why stay in America after you taken everything you can steal?
::)

Anyway, when they actuall have inhabitable structures rising over 2,000 feet, I'll bet there will be some unforeseen architectural problems!

The "Freedom Tower" will be a mere 1368 ft at the roof, 1776 including the spire.
