Seth Rogen is being lined up for a movie role as the comic book hero the Green Hornet.
The Knocked Up star could play Brit Reid, a newspaper publisher who is also a masked crime fighter.
George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg and Jake Gyllenhaal have previously been linked with the role, reports Variety.com.
The Green Hornet was originally a radio show before it made the transition to comics, cinema and TV..
Knocked Up was a surprise number one box office hit in the US and is scheduled to hit UK cinemas on August 24.

The Green Hornet was slim. Seth Rogen is not. That's like having Ed Asner play James Bond ;D
Seth Rogen sure has made a name for himself. He's like one of the most in-demand actors right now. I know this because he is Canadian, which means the program "Entertainment Tonight: Canada" talks about him aaaaaaalll the time
