Subject: Bee Movie

I'm a big Seinfeld fan, but this thing looks kind of dodgy.

Anybody seen it?  Any good?
???

I was thinking the same thing... but Richard Roeper and AO Scott gave it pretty good reviews. Like really good.

With the writers strike on I might be going to a few more movies, otherwise I might do something sick and desperate.  Might see me over in the bad part of town where the library is.  Can't afford to have my probation officer hear about something like that...

The jokes seem a bit old in the movie, but it looks cute enough. It reminds me a bit of "Honey! I Shrunk the Kids" I have no idea why I've made that connection, but for reason it just reminds me of it.

You're right!  ;D  I wonder if any of them sound like Antonio Banderas with a stuffed up nose in the movie?

O.K., I saw it and I wasn't very impressed.

I like Sienfeld but listening to him talk in a high pitched whiny voice for an hour was more than I could take.

Seinfeld was always annoying, but "annoying" is a trait of many a successful stand up comic.  I knew when he first showed up on HBO in 1987 he was going to be HUGE!  But how?  He created the first successful American sit-com with no sympathetic characters!

Bee Movie, though?  I think I'll give it a miss.

I have been a bit wary.  It was being hyped way too much, and that usually means that the movie is a bomb.  The only thing I want to see right now is GONE BABY GONE.  Loved the book, love everything written by Lehane.

I'm surprised how popular this is.
