For anyone who has not heard of this horrible story. Here it is.
I have my own theory about it. But I want to know others opinion.
Caylee Anthony was first reported missing to authorities on July 15, 2008. The three-year-old's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, reportedly called when her daughter Casey Anthony, the mother of Caylee, would not produce the grandchild. Cindy Anthony had not seen her granddaughter for days and became alarmed when she smelled the odor of a "dead body" in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car. (Cindy Anthony later revised her account, stating that the smell was from old pizza.)
When police questioned Casey Anthony on the whereabouts of her daughter, she told them the child was with a babysitter. The purported babysitter, Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez (a.k.a "Zanie"), was said to have been caring for the child for over two years. But when a local woman named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez was found and questioned by police on July 17, 2008, she denied knowing both Casey and Caylee Anthony.
When police asked the grandmother Cindy about the babysitter, Cindy said that she had no reason to doubt the account of Fernandez-Gonzalez caring for Caylee. However, in the nearly 3 years that Caylee was alive and living at Cindy Anthony's house, Cindy never once met the alleged babysitter.
From the start of the investigation, police were having trouble discerning fact from fiction when questioning the Anthony family. For instance, Caylee's grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony, told police that the last time they saw their granddaughter was on June 8, 2008, but there was evidence to the contrary. Authorities found a video tape, taken on June 15, 2008, that shows Caylee reading a book. When the grandparents were questioned about the time discrepancy, Cindy Anthony said that she had been confused about the dates. She then remembered taking Caylee to see Caylee's great-grandfather on Fathers Day. Cindy Anthony told police that her husband, George Anthony, went along with the dates because he took his wife's word on the facts.
When police began to investigate Casey Anthony, they immediately found discrepencies in what she had told law enforcement in her signed statement. Much of the information Casey gave, starting with the babysitter account, turned out to be a lie. For example, Casey told police that she worked at Universal Studios. When police escorted her to the park, she led them to an office until finally admitting to them that she no longer worked there.
Casey also claimed she had been investigating Caylee's disappearance on her own which is why she did not contact police earlier. However, friends and family denied being asked by Casey about Zenaida. Photos of Casey partying while Caylee was missing were then published by media outlets.
While authorities would like to see Caylee Anthony returned home safely, they say there is too much evidence pointing to the the girl's likely death.
During the investigation, police discovered hair samples and a stain in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car. Though there were claims that the stain was the little girl's blood, this fact has not been publicly confirmed. Instead, a lead investigator on the case said the hair was the major deciding factor leading authorities to believe that Caylee had indeed been in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car.
Together with these findings, authorities "air tested" the area of the car trunk to determine if a decomposing body had been stored there. The results of the air test were sent to a "body farm" at the University of Tennessee. These results confirmed that a body had been in the trunk.
On September 5, 2008, MSNBC reported that authorities had also found chloroform in Casey Anthony's car trunk. Evidence was also found indicating that Casey searched the internet on the use of the chemical.
Though many people believe Caylee Anthony to be dead, her grandmother Cindy Anthony continues to hold out hope that Caylee will be returned home alive. Cindy Anthony was interviewed on September 2, 2008, on the NBC morning show Today by the show's co-host, Matt Lauer. During the interview, Cindy Anthony stated that Caylee is probably with a friend or acquaintance of Casey Anthony. She went on to say, "I believe that Caylee is still alive, because I'm still getting phone calls of people who have seen Caylee and they're frustrated because the authorities aren't investigating."

Yeah this had turned into a real media circus.. Why would someone wait all that time before reporting her child missing?
Plus they keep arresting her on minor charges. She clammed up and won't tell the cops anything truthful. Has it made news where you are?

It's made news everywhere...especially FOX News, but that's the Greta Van Susteren schtick: Dead kids.
The story demonstrates a sad end to a little girl's life and how ironic it is that you need a license to drive a car or fire a gun, but the most reckless dopes in the world can pump out a baby.

I couldn't agree more, you have to have a license to do anything even fish. How come any idiot can become a parent? I am appalled at th way this has become a tourist attraction. Its like O.J. or Brittney Spears, they follow the family around everywhere. In fact one neighbor stole thier garbage. They are more focused on Caycee getting prosecuted than finding Caylee.
Although, some of it is their own fault . Selling those home videos didn't help much either. What a cluster F**k this is turning into.
If their ever is a trial they are gonna have to have it in The International Space station to find an unbiased jury.
We may never know what happened in this case. But I'll tellya one thing Nancy Grace is the most annoying person on the planet.

casey and her family reminds me of the van der sloots! and casey is a female version of Joran Van der Sloot! and she should tell the truth or god will punish the anthony family!

I do think the protesters outside her home are looneys. The Orange county sheriff needs to move her family to a different location. I think that maybe the Mom might know but the Dad is clueless.

I figure Casey killed her kid, mom got worried and called 911 before checking the trunk. Mom then checked the trunk, found the body, and they all got together and got rid of the body. Now mom and dad are trying to save Casey, too late for that.

Heres my theory: Casey drugged Caylee so she could go out and party, came back to get her and discovered she was dead. panicked she put her in the trunk of her car until she could figure out what to do. I think she dumped the poor little baby's' body near the Airport and the gators got her.
I think Casey Anthony should not be out on bail, house arrest or no house arrest. Rotting pizza my ass. Now she said that two dead squirlls got under the hood of her car. Her brother I think helped her dispose of the body.
At any rate if it does go to trial, it will be one media circus the likes of which we haven't seen since OJ. In fact it already is.

I agree the protesters are morons looking for nothing more than to pick a fight and get on TV.
The man actually had to turn on his hose to get them to back off.and what are they protesting?if they're protesting Casey getting out on bail,shouldn't they be picketing the courthouse?

A garden hose? I don't recommend it as a weapon of deterrence. You get one of those bigmother hoses the fire dept uses, and maybe you've got something!

yep we need some Joe Friday big time. This is turning out to be bigger than Susan Smith and Jon Benet Ramsey. I still don't get why she is not in jail. Does she think that without a body they can prove no crime?
I think if it ever does go to trial she will plead insanity to escape the death penetalty. Good lock her up in a room plastered with her babies pictures and play the videos all th time.

Oh yeah I agree that fat fuc* Skakle got away with murder for all those years and all the locals knew he did it. My old boss told me about that case years before it finally broke. She grew up in Greenwich, her Dad was the grounds keeper to the people that lived next door to the Skakles when it happened. I loved it when he got convicted.
And now O.J. being found guilty, Hah Karmas a bitch huh O.J.?

I can't imagine losing my only grandchild and my daughter at the same time. I feel for the Grandfather, the Grandmother too I suppose, although I think she had something to do with the cover up. But who knows these are just my opinions.

Cases like this should be wake up calls to people who deal with children who are being subjected to neglectful parents. Family members in particular should step in do what they can, even if it involves turning in another family member. The children should come first.

Yeah her brother Lee, i meant that to have such heartbreak, her Father was forced to testify against her yesterday.
I just can't help but think of what her baby went through. I do think that the Mom and brother had some hand in the cover up.
