Pretty sorry statement about the dreck the Hollywood is churning out these days. Besides they are saving the really good films for holiday release I guess.

I took my 5 year old to see it this weekend and she had a ball! It was as ridiculous as you'd think, but the Mexican scenery was a nice diversion.

WTF, indeed. That said, I might catch it on DVD on a 1$/movie day, just to see how bad it could be.
Religulous would have done much better if more than 10% of theatres showed it on a full schedule.
