Subject: Quantum of Solace (James Bond) film premiers tonight

Written By: Philip Eno on 10/29/08 at 1:44 pm

From BBC News Online

Stars have begun to arrive on the red carpet for the royal world premiere of the 22nd James Bond film, Quantum of Solace in London's Lesicester Square.

Daniel Craig turned up in a tuxedo and his arm in a sling, which he injured during filming.

When asked why it was important the film was launched in London, he said: "Because it's Bond - it's as British as it could be."

Princes William and Harry are expected to attend the gala event.

The Royal brothers have asked for all proceeds from the night to benefit two charities - Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion.

The event will be immediately followed by the film's first public screening.

Eager Bond fans, who bought tickets weeks ago, will be the first members of the public to see the much-anticipated film at the Odeon West End at 2015 BST.

I will check it out.  I was never a big Bond fan, but I really enjoyed the last Bond film.  I like the new Bond, who is not afraid to kick butt and killl the badguys.  007 is a secret agent - people have to die along the way.  Sorry, Pierce Brosnan.  LOL.

Trying not to give any of the plot away, but the story continues after Casino Royale finished.
