Subject: Blame Canada - Canadians destroy Hudson River Jet

Written By: Mushroom on 01/18/09 at 8:33 am

Well, according to all reports so far, the crash of a passanger jet into the Hudson river last week was the work of Canadians.  And the FTSB, DHS and ICE have released a mug shot of the dastardly perp:

http://www.outfittersandguides.org/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/canada-goose.jpg

I think it is time to get out our shotguns and rifles, and start to show those miscreants a lesson.  Invade our country?  Destroy our planes?  Notice, it was US Airways that was attacked.  What a blatant political target.

And notice the date...  1/15.  Look at the numbers in a mirror and it looks a lot like "911".  Maybe Canada was secretly behind 911 the entire time, and we just never suspected.

So arm yourself fellow Americans!  The Red Coats are comming again, only this time they are Canadian Mounties.  We need to fortify our border and repel the invasion.  Tell all your friends, this conspiracy by the tuque wearing, waffle eating, "eh" saying enemies of the state.  Send back Rick Moranis, Dan Aykroyd, Tom Green, Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, Martin Short, William Shatner, and Leslie Nielson.  But keep Alex Trebek, sending a man that smart back home is simply to dangerous to us.

Buy guns!  Arm yourselves!  And most of all....

BLAME CANADA!!!!

Like you Jas - I was thinking almost the same thing a few days ago!

They better clear out the National Mall of all of the geese that are there on any given day - because with the Inauguration just around the corner, these Canadian Geese might be plotting something! ;D

And it's called a Toque.  ;) 8)

Furthermore - it is against the law to harm, maim or kill a Canadian Goose - so who is going to be held accountable for their demise? ;D ;D ;D

:o

Wiki is jacked up on Dr. Pepper!!! ;D

Honestly though, it is spelled with an O. (Could be we spell it that way because of the French influence on our culture) - wiki says Toque is a variety of hats, but growing up we were always taught the spelling with an O, and even the Molson Canadian commercial spells it with an O. ;)

Also, the very first line on the wiki article is:

For other uses, see Toque

8) wiki is definitely jacked on the Dr. Pepper!!! ;D ;D

Not here near Picksburgh.  The Beaver County Parks Department arranged for this whole big goose-hunt at Brady's Run Park, supposedly because the geese were polluting the lake there due to their doody.

A lottery was held and 100 lucky hunters were drawn.  Each day over five days, twenty ace hunters went out to the park and blasted away.  Was a big scandal here, with many pros and cons to the situation.

After a week of hunting, a grand total of 28 geese were bagged.  ::)

How hard can it be to shoot semi-domesticated geese?  I was laughing my azz off at all those weekend Rambos with their goose calls, blinds, and goose guns, out there in the cold freezing their azzes off.  ;D

So they obviously had a Federal Permit to do this lottery. ;)

Of course, I had to go looking for the information... and believe it or not, I found it! ;)

4th paragraph, single line: "It is illegal to kill Canada geese in the United States without a federal permit."

.... did the pilot and crew have this permit in hand? ;D ;D ;D

Did you know there was a band called Canada Goose?  In 1970, they reached #44 in Canada with a cover of Jackie Wilson's 'Higher and Higher'.

Interesting that John Candy's "Canadian Bacon" was being shown today on cable.

Ah, karma for indirectly mentioning Michael Moore (director of Canadian Bacon).  Once upon a time, Michael Moore was actually funny, instead of merely being a strident partisan hack.  How the mighty have fallen.
No smiley, because no irony.  I disagree with about 99% of Moore's politics.  I laughed my ass off at Canadian Bacon, and bought his DVD as an expression of support.  I'll neither confirm nor deny whether I purchased or .torrented his more recent work, but I will say that I not only cheered aloud at the line "Jesus T*blank*ng Christ" in Team America: World Police, I bought Matt and Trey's DVD as a result.

Canadian Bacon was everything that political satire ought to be.  Michael Moore, get off your high horse and start being funny again, and maybe the people you're trying to influence will start laughing with you again, instead of laughing at you.

If you hate Michael Moore, rent Canadian Bacon.  You'll still hate his politics, but you'll at least respect the man.  He's capable of funny.  He's just hidden his talents for the better part of a decade.

anybody notice that three of the four teams that made the NFL championships this year were named after filthy, america-hating BIRDS? ravens, cardinals and eagles. and now birds are attacking our passenger aircraft.

coincidence? only a fool would be so naive.

I heard it from Horrendo Revolver that plane had some mechanical problems on Tuesday.  So why didn't they dock that flying cattle car in the hanger?  They sent it out again on Thursday and blamed it on some geese.  Whattup widdat?
