It was...OK .....It didn't really strike Me as being great.

Well, to be honest, I don't think any of today's music is 'great'! I like the song because it's so hipnotic, it's like it sucks you in with it. It's a good song to get lost in. And I agree with you, "I've heard better".

The DJ must've not heard great music in a while. You're the product of your environment anyways. You grow up with mediocre music, so you think it's great.

The local station I heard it on {that My 17 yr. old Daughter puts on in the car} Does a "Top 9 songs"at 9pm...

I'm in the U.S. and I dropped the Crookers Remix of "Day N Nite" in June 2008 on my mixshow and I grabbed it around April 2008.  8)

My fiancé likes the Crookers Remix also, which kinda surprised me as she's not a huge fan of electro, but that's the part of the song she likes. O0

When I first heard it, the original was the one they were playing on the radio, now I'm usually only hearing the Crookers remix (which I generally prefer).
