Many people believe 2012 will be the end of the world but many new sources claim that the WWW may 'hang'. It will be inactive at leas for a while and people will become terrified and online business will lose some big bucks.

I don't believe it will end, but I believe that there will be huge changes during all of the 2010's that will lead up the 2020's, the "real" start of the 21st century!

I think 2012 is. . .another year, nothing will end in 2012, the only thing that will change is Apple's Nano will have another redesign

No, I don't want to get rod of it. But it's a wacky idea, isn't it?
Many 'forecasters' say that the world will NOT end in 2012, but it will become totally different. Think about it - what would make today's (techie) world totally different? But I prefer that Internet and tech related scenario over the asteroids and other 'World ends in 2012, all people get killed' theories. lol

Yeah, I agree. But I prefer newspapers and magazines over those spam-RICH news sites, whose info is incorrect or the people, posing it are a bunch of journalist-wannabes instead of real journalists. :)
I like forums though.

I hope the Internet never ends. I do hope that it changes form though!
The internet has already become an everyday use, like TV or Radio. I just hope people learn to go outside and play every once in a while though! :o
