I'm not generally a fan of newer music, but he is growing on me.
His style of music and voice are reminding me of something alternative from the 80's but I can't put my finger on who or what.
Any other fans? What are your Badly Drawn Boy picks?

He is a good singer. He's been around since the early 2000s. I am not too familiar with his work apart from the complete soundtrack to 'About A Boy' (movie starring Hugh Grant) that he did.

I just listened to this, it is good! It doesn't have that weird "reminding me of something" that the others do though.

I played this to my brother and he says it reminds him of The Divine Comedy.
I may use this guy to play the theme to "Badly Drawn Show".

I had heard some of his earlier stuff from the mid 2000's.
He does very well crafted English pop.

Kinda reminds me of the 80's songwriting...sounds of XTC and Mathew Sweet that came together.
