I'm surprised no one said 6teen yet, because it's probably the most quintessential show, let alone cartoon, of 2000s preteen and teen life.

I wonder why it has the Kids WB logo on it although I know its owned by WB but I only remember seeing it on Cartoon Network regularly though. Now this was THE BEST ACTION SHOW of the Classic Cartoon Network age, I used to get hooked into this show a lot throughout 2002 and 2003, it was usually on Primetime or Toonami. It premiered in late 2001 when we were in Kindergarten and it became a hit, and then you also had Justice League Unlimited as well which expanded a bunch of characters. Which one did you prefer? The original one or the Unlimited one? Personally looking back I preferred the original one because it focused on just the 7 main heroes, each of them were divided into 2-part episodes that took its time and had a deep plot into it. Now as a kid Unlimited was epic because more heroes joined the show which was imaginative, but looking back the episodes were cut to 30 minutes and it had too many superheroes that you couldn't get into, but either way I enjoyed both of the series.

Ok, and actually, reruns of Batman: TAS and Superman: TAS were on the Toonami (Cartoon Network) lineup from late 2000-early 2001 (you remember that?), and then throughout 2003 both of the shows aired during Saturday midnights at like 1am-2am, and that's when I saw reruns of the shows the most. The DCAU shows I remember the most fondly are Batman Beyond, Static Shock, and Justice League/JLU.

some 00s kids WB shows

Ah yes, Kids WB, my favorite Saturday morning block when I was a young kid, and of course the one that even had a weekday afternoon block too along with it. Unlike One Saturday Morning and FOX Kids, this one STAYED the same throughout the peak of our childhoods and barely changed. It still maintained great programming throughout the mid-2000's (except for 2006).

http://images4.fanpop.com/image/polls/673000/673248_1301160068822_full.jpg

I heard of it many times but I never watched it.

http://images2.fanpop.com/images/polls/214000/214292_1238786341067_full.jpg

LMAO this show seems completely forgotten in my head now, despite the fact that it feels I didn't watch it enough, W.I.T.C.H. was one of the really good original shows of Jetix, but Ying Yang Yo and Power Rangers Dino Thunder were my favorites.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a1/Libkidsmenu.JPG

I LOVED THIS SHOW! One of the last shows I watched on PBS Kids regularly! It was so short lived though but it was real educational and thought you some stuff about the American Revolution, Boston Tea Party, Declaration of Independence, and much more!

http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/caillou/images/b/b4/Caillou_Logo.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20120608235110

Switch of emotion, I HATED THIS SHOW so much!!! This dude was so annoying and such a cry baby, even as a 4 & 5 year old I could not stand the show it was so bland, boring, and unrelatable and every time I saw it reminded me of how much better Arthur was and it wasn't even a competition.

http://www.topironons.com/images/Clifford_the_%20Big%20_Red%20_Dog_Iron_On_Transfers_011.jpg

Clifford was one of my favorite PBS shows ever, very light hearted and warming the dogs were so relatable talking to each other going on adventures and teaching us moral lessons. This series was great the way it was, not that Puppy Day's crap lol.

http://steppingstonesmuseum.org/Portals/0/Uploads/Images/Full-Color-logo.jpg

This was a great show too, since I was great in math growing up it was a piece of cake to me, but I always questioned myself, how was motherboard able to tell what Hacker was up to everytime? Speaking of Hacker, now I know how he got that name never even realized it! That robot Pigeon guy was so annoying though but still a pretty cool character.

I agree, but I rarely watched FOX Kids or FOX-BOX, and later on this was changed to 4KidsTV from what I remember. I was a Kids WB and One Saturday Morning/ABC Kids guy, but Kids WB was my favorite for many reasons like I explained, because throughout most of my childhood Kids WB still maintained great programming filled with amazing action shows for the longest and still kept their weekday afternoon block as well, while One Saturday Morning & FOX Kids had changed so rapidly that I begin to not like them quickly. Kids WB was fit for me the most that was the best, and One Saturday Morning was my 2nd favorite, now when it changed to ABC Kids it was alright at first but then after a while it just became another Disney Channel clone just basically in the morning.

I agree kids WB was the only network not of the big 3(Nick,DC,andCN) that stayed a great program in the mid 00s!! One Saturday morning(pre school-kindrgarden) became abc kids when we were in 1st grade! ABC kids was cool from 1st grade-2nd grade! Then 3rd grade(04-05ish) it went downhil;l despite dino thunder's greatness with tommy's return to the series, and some Disney shows it became a saturday morning disney channel!!

Fox Kids turned int Fox Box in 1st/2nd grade (03-04)!! I was ANGRY and SHOCKED because Power rangers moved to abc/disney after saban gave up the rights! 4kids animes were showing like the crappy one piece dub, the AWFUL sonic dub, and kirby back in action which was DECENT! TMNT 2003 was the ONLY thing to look forward to on that once great network! A LOT of people in my class would mainly watch kids WB and Disney Saturday over fox kids and fox box!! But, it makes sense Fox kids heyday was in the early-mid 90s mainly!! I caught it it kinda late 99-00 when digimion was showing!!

What about?:

Chowder (2007-10)
Sagwa The Chinese Siamese Cat (2001-02)
Clifford's Puppy's Days (2003-05)

Is there anything else from PBS Kids that was a cartoon back then? Maybe somebody could refresh my memory for me.

Chowder (2007-2010)
By the time this show premiered I had lost interest in Cartoon Network, I may have seen a couple of episodes or two, but it wasn't one of my favorites though.

Sagwa The Chinese Siamese Cat (2001-02)
;D ;D LOL I remember this one, especially that weird intro, I hardly ever watched it though.

Clifford's Puppy Days (2003-05)
Nah that show was not needed to be made. Only the ORIGINAL Clifford the Big Red Dog was great for me!

I'm assuming that you stopped watching PBS Kids after 2007, maybe.

edit: now you already saw I posted this, sorry for so much editing....

I actually stopped watching PBS Kids around late 2003, I still watched it throughout most of 2003 though. The other shows I know because my younger sisters had it on during some rare occasions. One of the last shows I watched on there that I enjoyed was a show called Berenstain Bears, it was really enjoyable for me and had its good moments. Kinda like how when Arthur was turned into a TV series in 1996 it was based off the books, similar scenario with Berenstain Bears as well.

Well, there's more than that.

Yes... Phineas & Ferb is also missing from the list. It premiered in 2007 and lasted into the 10s. (In fact, it aired its final episode earlier this year.)

I actually don't consider Phineas and Ferb as nostalgic, since it's really recent to me. Especially with all of the episodes coming out in the early 2010s as more definitive than the late 2000s ones.

I was referring to the opening post of this thread, in which the starter listed (most of) the cartoon shows that were active in the 2000s decade. And yes, it is fairly recent, given that it just aired its series finale, as I mentioned above.

I know that these cartoons are more late 90s, but I felt like they were awesome, even as a 2000s kid. Loved both of them when they were on Noggin in my childhood.

People can forever jump on the 90s bandwagon but the 2000s has Avatar, bruh. Jackie Chan Adventures and Mucha Lucha go hard, to. The 2000s has so many timeless cartoons, its intangible.

The 2000s had some classics for sure. I'm so happy I got to witness the iconic cartoons from that decade.

The Cartoons I watched the most in the 00s were
Pokemon (I know it's anime)
Yu-Gi-Oh (still anime)
Xialion Showdown
Cyberchase
Arthur
Avatar
Jimmy Neutron
Fairly oddparents
Spongebob
Static Shock
Ozzy and Drix
Jackie Chan Adventures

I must have overlooked Courage The Cowardly Dog or did it not get any mention? It was the perfect horror cartoon.

Well yeah, same with Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Johny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Ed Edd and Eddy, all those cartoons defined my early childhood but no one seem to mention them on here ??? ??

I want to beat myself up for not watching enough Skyland, but thankfully I have DVDs of the series.

Although those are mostly 2000s cartoons, I didn't post them because they began in the 90s.

Dexter's Lab is more of a 90s cartoon at best and Cow & Chicken never aired in the 00s.

Well, a lot of Cartoon Network originals were airing around that time; late 90s/early 00s... although I never cared to watch any of them. I only heard about them from watching classic cartoons (MGM and Warner Brothers) when I first got cable TV at home in the early 00s.

Those cartoons are on the 90s topic, man. Haha The only cartoons on the list that are exceptionally 2000s are Powerpuff Girls and Ed, Edd N Eddy.

Those other shows were good but Mucha Lucha was bad tbh. One of those shows where it seems they made it in 5 minutes.

Id say the 90s as well as early 2000s, the combined Millennial kid era, were pretty great for cartoons. The Zoomer era has good shows too.

That's subjective. Mucha Lucha had addictive writing and interesting design choices. It had something to offer.
