Seeing a flip phone in one of the photos really makes it look dated, as by 2016, everyone has been using smartphones.

Didn't really see a shift based on those pics. For the most part it looks the same as 2005.

Agreed! The 2006 shift is way overblown. That year including the end and ones following it were practically still the same as 2005.

Same here, except my early twenties. I was just thinking earlier how that world is pretty much gone.

Back then, the iPod made white/silver electronics really popular. Most of the trendy cellphones and cameras back then were silver. That was my main thought ;D

The TV and electronics system is pretty average IMO, as remember that early flatscreen TVs as shown in the 5th photo tended to be smaller, as that big screen on the first photo still served itself quite well. My parents still have a 2002 big screen similar to above.
I still remember visiting Atlantic City that same month and lost $30 on blackjack at the now closed Trump Taj Mahal. But I remember how fresh it seemed relatively speaking compared to the mid-'90s, and you can say the same thing with today. 2007 IMO was when the real shift began, with late 2006 having a just a few subtle hints like primitive social media.
