Which year was better? 2007 or 2008?

Pop culturally I like 2007 better. Personal-life wise, I like 2008 more. But overall, my answer is 2007.

2007. I had a much more eventful time back then as that was the year I started Kindergarten and the year that I was making friends. I felt like a much bigger kid on my fifth birthday compared to when I was four. I also really liked the songs of 2007 as well, except for Soulja Boy. That song was annoying and I still don't like it to this day, however, the number of songs I liked still outweighed the number of songs I didn't like.

My brother used to play his song so much that it's now forever engraved in my brain ;D.

I’m glad it’s not that popular anymore. I hated it when I was five and I still do.

Both as equal as each other, but 2008 lasted longer.

Spring/summer 2008 was the best. Probably the peak of my teen years, I had a lot of fun that summer.

But overall I'm going to have to give it to 2007. Late 2008 was a mess. Early 2007 felt kind of empty, there was a huge video game drought then, but late 2007 came and w o w. Legendary.

I remember being hyped for the public launch of Gmail back then LOL. I was ready for the end of Hotmail/Yahoo.

Oh, and the guys watching 2 Girls 1 Cup in class on their PSPs. Yikes.

Well, I'm pretty sure every early part of the year is always going to feel like an extension of the previous year. It's like that with most years.

Yeah....IKR. It's fairly obvious that the beginning of the year will feel like the previous year ;D, except for 2004, it felt pretty different from 2003 already

2008 started off strong. But man, late 2008 was so dark, everything was in free fall and we had no idea what the future was going to be like. It was like late 2016.

Both, but 2008 was better.

I changed my mind, 2007.

I had more emotional control in 2008, but 2007 was more lighthearted.

From what I can remember, 2007 felt like the perfect mix of mid-2000's culture and late-2000's culture.

I was thinking back to today 2007 and realized that 2007 felt really weird to me. It felt dark and digital. Anyone else feel that way about that year? It may have felt that way because of the emo and websites like MySpace along with those electronic type Timberland tracks. I don't think I liked it that much even though I still have some enjoyable memories from that year (especially concerts). It definitely felt like pop culture was on the verge of changing.

2007 felt very digital and futuristic at the time.

2008 sucked pop culturally but was good for my personal life. '07 was better both pop culturally and personally.
