Subject: 2000's aesthetic TV shows

Written By: Lizardmatum on 02/22/18 at 9:53 am

What are some TV shows with that 2000's aesthetic whether it be the look or the feel or both?

For me The IT Crowd feels very mid 2000's.

Also the first series in particular of the revived Doctor Who with Christopher Eccleston is so old now (2005) that it has this dark, grainy and glowey kind of look to it that old shows from the 2000's often have!

Any others you can think of that have a very 2000's look and feel?  :)

Desperate Housewives. It's so 2000s it's uncanny.

For the early 2000s it's definitely Malcolm In The Middle.

I've noticed this as well. You also know when a music video is from the '00s based off of this unique "glossy" look. I don't quite know how to explain it :P.

Drake and Josh certainly shows off the mid 2000s.

Gloss was a huge trend trough out the whole decade, kinda disappointing no one seem to acknowledge it when talking about the aesthetic of the 2000s :(

Maybe I'm just being a fool here, but I noticed that a lot of 2000s series accentuated the yellows for some reason.
