Subject: Did Summer 2001 feel like a finale for any of you?

To me Summer 2001 felt like the late 90s culture was stagnant (When we would get to the week of 9/11 the real 2000s culture
would come in and things would GET VERY fast paced) In Many ways Summer 2001 was the true finale of the 90's
Key things I remember about that slow summer:
- Hanging out at my Aunt's house with all of my relatives in one place for one of the very last times (everyone pretty much moved away after that)
- Shrek The Movie's hype ( I never liked that crap movie, but I will admit the hype was real)
- WWF INVASION, everyone hated it, but everyone thought GOLDBERG was going to come in lmao
- Summer Camp being VERY y2k, we had this dance competition where would be either Nsync or The Backstreet boys LOL
- GameBoy Color overload
- Debut of GameBoy Advance, everyone that summer was copping F zero
-Final Fantasy The Movie LMAO what a joke
- Cell Saga heating up on Toonami

For me it was when I transferred from community college to university... and getting acclimated to living in a new place.
