Don't forget Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster!

That album does not best represent the 2000's  it came out in August 19, 2008, by that point
there was a year and a half left of the 2000s, and by the time we got to 2009 it didn't really feel
like the 2000's classic decade.

My least favorite decade (overall), but here goes:

(More than 10, in no particular order)

2000 - 2002:

Britney Spears - Oops!... I Did It Again
NSYNC - No Strings Attached
Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP
U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind
Britney Spears - Britney
Aerosmith - Just Push Play
NSYNC - Celebrity
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
P!nk - M!ssundaztood
Nickelback - Silver Side Up
Justin Timberlake - Justified
Destiny's Child - Survivor
O-Town - Self-titled/O2 (the end of the boy band era)
Nelly - Nellyville (pop music went in a heavily urban direction starting in 2001; plus, "Hot in Herre" was THE song of 2002)
Bruce Springsteen - The Rising (the effect of 9/11)

2003 - 2005

Beyoncé - Dangerously in Love
Jay-Z - The Black Album
Metallica - St. Anger
Green Day - American Idiot (Perfectly captures the zeitgeist of the Bush era)
Foo Fighters - In Your Honor
My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade (Like American Idiot, another ambitious rock opera; plus Samuel Bayer directed the music videos here as well)
Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree (peak pop-punk)

2006 - 2007

Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
Justin Timberlake - FutureSex/LoveSounds (Justin wasn't just "Bye Bye Bye" anymore)
Neil Young - Let's Impeach the President (more anti-Bush sentiment)
Britney Spears - Blackout

2008 - 2009

Britney Spears - Circus
Katy Perry - One of the Boys
Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster
Green Day - 21st Century Breakdown
