OK, back in February 2003, I saw the Harvey Birdman episode with Black Vulcan for the first time. And, no joke, I developed a crush on BV. It was his heavenly voice and his repetition of "in my pants." And you can't forget his anger over being called "Black Vulcan"... "That's Supervolt!"

2003 is one of the forgotten years of the 2000s for me. I was probably going to Hot Topic in the mall to see which 80s TV and movie characters I could find in there.

2003 was rather dark and depressing when I was living through it, but looking back it still feels like the good ol days compared to recent years.

2003 was the year I graduated high school. That summer was awesome! I had the best times with my friends. So many memories and I miss it dearly.

February 2003 was extremely cold. Back when I burned propane for heat, I would normally fill the tank once in summer and once around New Years. Well we got a spell of -20f day and night for weeks, which ended with a smashing night of almost -40f and all 3 of my cars wouldn’t start.  Took half a day to get one going. Instead of it lasting till summer I sucked down a whole 500 gallon tank of propane in 6 weeks. It was 2 months later the day after Easter that my kid’s mom left. Not a great time period.

One thing I remember that occurred that February was the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster. Also the SARS epidemic was happening but it was nothing compared to COVID-19. Just over 8000 cases worldwide but it did have close to a 10% fatality rate.
