Subject: Why does every 2000s movie look like it was made for Xbox/PS2

Seriously, watching scenes from tomb raider, scorpion king and van helsing when the monsters come out. The transformation is so CGI in ways that it makes it look so dated.

Not every film I cannot recall any CGI in "Love Actually" (2003) or "Walk The Line" (2005)?

Or my favorite film Batman Begins, or even The Dark Knight for that matter. Those movies were more strictly stunts and minimal CG. Now the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man series used a lot more CG.

To be honest, it's just showing its age.

Back in the day, people thought the 2000s CGI was very high tech, and very high-quality and immersive.

Nowadays, compared to the CGI and graphics in movies today, it looks old.

Yeah the 2000s are aging now, the Cgi graphics from beginning to end in the 2000s was pretty consistent
