Subject: Okay, I'm THROUGH Talking About Clinton.....Billary Anyway!

Written By: RockandRollFan on 08/18/04 at 9:06 pm

I'm SURE that a lot of you are sick and tired of my whining about "Slick Willy"....I never intended to piss people off...I was just stating MY feelings about him. Anyway, THIS pretty much sums up my thoughts on him....

Former President Bill Clinton was quite eloquent in his comments on the need to find alternative energy sources....and to take action on global warming . But I must take his statement with a grain of salt. Clinton had eight years to do something about these matters. He had a strong environmentalist in VP Al Gore. But I don't recall him making climate change or energy policy heavy priorities. Many fondly recall the good times of the late 1990's, when he was our genial party host. But when one thinks of what he might have accomplished, there is the suspicion that his political epitaph will read He could have been great, but he preferred being popular.....

Clinton as a policy-maker and a communicator was anything but incompetent.  His biggest problem was he was hungry for sex, not hungry for money.  In American politics, that's a no-no.

Let me just point out that it was the Clinton admin that negociated the Koyoto treaty, and it was George W Bush, that great environmentalist who refused to sign it, and who introduced the "Clear Skies initiative" which allows for MORE pollution.  Lil' Georgies epitaph will read  He couldn't be great so he  chose to be a disaster.
