Subject: The Price of Heat

Written By: danootaandme on 10/04/04 at 9:01 am

The price of home heating oil has almost doubled in the past year.  I can't find an acceptable
answer as to why such a jump, and the federals keep hemming and hawing.  What
is our take on it?

With the price of crude hitting $50 / barrel, mostly because of fear over the middle east, what can you expect.  And to the extent that Bush's policies have added to ME instability, he does bear some of the blame.  We can also blame all those SUV drivers and the auto industry for not developing more efficient vehicles.
