I figured it was this story of trying to take people who have been out of the service for 13 years, completed all their requirements, and put them back on active duty.
Bush falling off the wagon is a much bigger story though I guess.

I've seen draught beer, as in beer drawn from a keg, spelled "draft" beer. Maybe that's an Americanization. I'm not sure if the terms are technically interchangable, I'd have to look it up. Now, the old slogan from Vietnam, "draft beer not boys," "draft" refers to the act of drinking which is always d-r-a-f-t.

According to the Collins English Dictionary I have at work draft is the American spelling and draught is the English spelling both for beer drawn from a keg and for a portion of liquid to be drunk.
