Subject: Second Anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq War (3-19-05)

Written By: bbigd04 on 03/19/05 at 12:32 pm

Today is 2 years since the beginning of the war. On March 19, 2003 shortly after the 48 hour deadline expired, the US began the bombing and invasion of Iraq. On April 9, 2003 the Saddam Hussein regime was toppled. Since then US forces have had to deal with a large insurgency. Over 1,500 US soldiers have died in the conflict, and around 11,000 have been wounded.

Wait a minute? Didn't little georgie land on a destroyer in flight garb announcing the invasion a success and an end to the war?  And where is Osama anyway?(Osama who? you might well ask.)

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

And it took an extra several hours before that carrier got to port.  It had to keep circling so that the reporters could get their photo ops of Lil' Georgie and the Pacific (not the shore line) behind him.  What a farse, what a crock of bull dung.

Yes, George Bush DID land on a destroyer announcing the end to the war.  Then foreigners disguised as normal, friendly Iraqi civilians pulled up to American forces, and bombed them.  And the Americans, being the civilized people that we are, didn't fire at people who appeared to be normal, friendly, Iraqi civilians.  If you're Anti-Bush, I suppose you could find a way to say that this is Bush's fault.

Where is Osama?  Good question.  Osama has managed to elude our military by using innocent women and children as shields, and by hiding in residences throughout Kabul, etc. without worry, because he knows that Americans are a CIVILIZED people and will not intentionally strike at someone who is innocent.

Saddam's regime, as well as the Taliban's, don't give a rat's a$$ if they kill innocent people, women, children, even their own people.  But I guess a really determined liberal could find a way to blame that on Bush too...

There was a protest close to us, today. We thought about going to it but decided just to enjoy the day together.

osama is where he is because georgie decided that he is  " not a priority" .  That is what georgie said.
I don't know how you feel about osama, but I think he should have been the number one priority.
