Judge Janice Rogers Brown was confirmed 56-43 in the U.S. Senate for a lifetime seat on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.

It was part of that crappy deal.  Now Pryor is going to be confirmed (I don't like him) while good judges like Saad and Myers get the boot by the democrats' unconstitutional filibuster.

As much as I hated to see these scarey conservatives of Bush get appointed, I guess that is a small price to pay to keep the fillibuster rule.

I would like to see anyone point out ANY clause in the Constitution that even comes close to suggesting that the filibuster is unconstitutional.  The rules of the Senate are not proscribes in that document.  All it says is "advise and consent".  Fact is, Lil' Georgie, who claimed to be "the uniter" has created this crisis by nominating candidates unacceptable to a large majority, and so, divided the Senate.  Anyone who thinks the filibuster is unconstitutional needs to read that document.

Majority?  Everyone Bush has nominated could get the majority 51 votes required.
