Subject: Vatican to "Ban" Actively Gay Priests

Just heard that on the news wires. No doubt there will be an uproar, a hue, and a cry.
But what is the big deal? The Vatican does not allow sexually active STRAIGHTS either. If you sign up to be a priest, you give up sex with women and men. Heck, probably with animals and vegetables and minerals too.
Now how any of this would be enforced or verified is a horse of a different color.

I'll bet the Vatican misses the old days when they didn't even have to pretend to be accountable to the great unwashed!
