Plus he's an earnest, clean-living, church-going young fella your mom & pop will like.  A great score all around!

This calls for this video and song:

Text Message Breakup

Warning: profanity and a badly dressed female impersonator.

Bernie (yeah, I had to stress that  ;) ) is a great guy. I support him 100% but that perpetual bad hair day just drives me crazy.  :D :D

Karl Rove sure was fond of him.  Had him as a White House guest about 90 times!

I've had my eye on him (not like that...not that there's anything wrong with that!), and he does have that starry charisma.  He's young (45 is still "young" in politics), he's vital, he's tall-dark-and-handsome, and he has a great rhetorical syle.

Oh boy, you think John Kerry got "swift boated"!
::)

The Repugs are already gearing up.  Never mind that his las name rhymes with "Osama," one of Daddy Bush's thugs was on TV capitalizing on his middle name, "Hussein" ("hooo-sayne").  Does it matter that the man's mama gave him the name in 1961?  Nope.

I just read it, very impressive.  I am afraid he has built up steam to quickly, and you know Rove is out there with his tricks, but the most they have been able to come up with is his middle name, Hussein, which the will repeat as infinitum with a sneer.

I know they are...and it makes me sick, because he would be so great as President...he's all common sense, which this country desperately needs.

I'm reading it right now, and so far I'm totally impressed too.  When I finish, perhaps we can chat.

Freaking Karl Rove...he's the epitome of evil.

^Speaking of Rove has anyone else seen the episode of American Dad where Stan hires Karl to help him win an election campaign for Deacon of his church? Oh man, Rove wears this red cloak and hood type outfit similar to the Emperor from Star Wars, speaks in this evil, raspy voice and at the end when he leaves he transforms into a bat and flies off, ala Dracula. ;D

I haven't.

Does an actor play Karl Rove or does he do a cameo appearance?  I'm assuming it's an actor because I don't think Karl has a sense of humor.  Irony perhaps, but not humor.

Hey, I've been there!  I loved Don Carlos' anectdote about how he gave Bernie directions, "Keep turning Left and you'll get to (our house)"!

Bernie got a kick out of that-but his people didn't.  :D ;D ;D

BTW, when that pic was taken, Bernie was very hot and extremely sweaty. When we posed for the pic, he warned us that his back was wet. So I called him a "wetback". It just slipped out of my mouth  :-[  but he did laugh at it.  :D ;D ;D
