Subject: State of the Union

Written By: Foo Bar on 01/22/07 at 11:13 pm

http://drinkinggame.us/

Conspiracy Theory of the Day:  The above-linked site is a plot by the Government to ensure that its opponents tend to wind up either dead of acute alcohol poisoning by midnight, and that the surviving players are still too inebritt-inbreezia-febreezi-bah-drunk to come up with anything coherent about it on the morning after.

Disclaimer:  The only beers you could try this with are too weak to be worth drinking.  In fact, if the Wii contest a couple of weeks ago was any indication, you're probably taking your life in your hands by trying this with water.  Don't try this at home with anything other than a pen and a piece of paper.

I hope...I hope it will be like Eddie Haskell having to apologise...I mean reeeaallly apologise!

But I don't think so, I'd expect the Dems responses to be pretty marshmallow, and then press will dollop out one apolgy after another.

Bush is not the devil. I am offended on the devil's behalf.

I've gotten drunk by listening to him!  It's either he's drunk for talkin' like that, or I'm drunk for listening to him...and saying: "We got a dummy for a president!"

Here's the speech in a nutshell:

"The state of our Union is strong"

American Idol has more value than this garbage.

Man, did she look unhappy towards the latter end of the speech.  Best. Scowl. Evah.  Swap genders on this picture and you've got the right idea.

But your real homework, Citizen, is to get the screen grab of what (due to unfortunate camera placement) looks like Dear Leader copping a feel on Madam Speaker.

(Gotta give credit to Dear Leader where it's due.  Using a "one sip, as opposed to one ounce, per point" rule, I still managed to finish off only one 750mL bottle and am therefore still conscious.  Surprised the hell outa me.)

They pooled together a sales pitch of the tepid redundancies you hear in every Bush speech.
Jim Webb was dead-on talking about class is in his rebuttal, shelving right-to-choose and diversity for the moment.
You know, Bush introduced the first female Speaker of the House, and she's a Democrat, so we're on our way.  Class is the real frustration of the age!

With that stuff, he would've turned into a green monkey or something. I swear the last time I drank it, the streetlights were doing a conga line down the road. That sh*t is seriously wicked.

I caught that, too. I think that may be in the same catagory as "Nukalur".

I saw Dick Cheney pop some kind of pill during the speech. (Ok, maybe it was a mint). I also noticed him laughing when Dubya was talking about alternative energy as if to say, "Yeah, right. As if that will ever happen as long as we are in control."

Cheney was saying to himself, "If I was up in front of that mike, I wouldn't do all that ass-kissing!  I'd see we're nuking theran at 8:00 tomorrow morning, and that's the end of it!  We've got dictatorships to run here!"

I saw Cheney pop something too, maybe his Coumadin!

The first is H. Rider Haggard.  He is mostly known for writing "Pulp Adventure Stories" in the late 19th century.  His most well known book is "King Solomon's Mines".

The other is a Foley catheter (anybody who has watched "ER" has heard characters asking for "a Foley" to be inserted).  And yea, if you have ever had one inserted while you were awake, you would probably agree that it is an instrument of torture.

Yeah, the good ol' Foley catheter!  It feels like a freight train when they hit you with one of those!
Why can't we just die young, like our great-great grandparents!
