Subject: Who believes the Bosnia bumble?

Written By: saver on 03/25/08 at 7:31 pm

When you know whatever comes out of your mouth will be related to the world..Hillarytells of her arrival under fire in Bosnia when it wasn't at all what took place..She claims she is only human, only human, only human,@#!*%0*+%#'-robotic sounds here..(repeat) only human...

There are mistakes AND mistakes...Uncle Bill always wears that sweater vest..(no, I don't, I just got it)...oh, must've been someone else.....I arrived under heavy fire, we had to duck down to avoid being caught up in it and(uh.....where was this and WHEN did that ever happen???)  Nice try...was that remark written or something always wanting to be said...like, 'I did not have sexual relations with that girl?'

i think both this story AND the reverend wright story show how far our politics has sunk. but hey, it seems to be working, so whatever. i think it was stupid of her to lie about that but it's not like lying us into a war and getting hundreds of thousands of people killed or anything like that.

Guess it depends who's doing the lying.....if you believe George B. lied you're a fool..if you think the advisors lied.. because I see no money made from oil gains in the US,andheard no names related to the war benefiting anyone in particular.

Then there was the determination that found whatever evidence was presented for a war was found to be on the level..with both Dems and Reps buying into such a need to go...

are you kidding me? no money made from the war? it's a machine explicitly designed to transfer public tax revenue into private hands. take blackwater: they went from a 200 million dollar company to a 1 billion dollar company overnight. halliburton, bechtel, all the usual suspects garnered MASSIVE corporate contracts from the iraq war. and in most cases they're providing substandards services or none at all.

your problem is you see america as a homogeneous entity, if we're losing money in one sector then we're losing money as a country. not so. it's a matter of government wealth being transferred into private hands and though it's a relatively simple process, it's still too complicated for most people to understand.

and yes, they lied. they said they knew EXACTLY where the WMDs were. they said that al qaeda had links to iraq. then they compounded the lies by saying they never said that.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=waLRhUQmw7U

the case is absolutely air tight. your people LIED LIKE BASTARDS. over and over. and they made money off of it, and lots of people are dying because of it. it's disgusting.

Actually Dubya lied about a lot of things that cost the U.S. lives, treasure and international respect.  Rove was an adviser and the guy couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it.  Have you ever heard of the petrodollar?

The Bosnia bumble only goes to show that she was "caught in a misunderstanding". ::)  She claims she's human, which is a surprise to some people.

If it's remembered five years from now I'll be shocked.

it's pretty obvious she's deliberately lying, though. it's pretty goofy on her part. though to imply it's on the same level as lying about the war is silly, it just makes hillary look like a goof.

But, but, she really was fired upon.  Why would Hillary lie to make herself look a bit like she's "seen combat".  Which is what she was trying to convey.  *note sarcasm*

I really am saddened by the fact that I may be forced to vote for Hillary.  Whenever I see McCain all I think is "another one of those damn neo-cons".

Hope Obama wins. :)

(Ethereal voice of Marvin Gaye setting the mood)

We're all sensitive people
With so much to give
Understand me, sugar
Since we got to be
Let's live
I love you

There's nothin' wrong
With me lovin' you
Baby, no, no
And givin' yourself to me can never be wrong
If the love is true
Oh, babe, ooh, ooh

I will agree with you!

Throughout the 20th Century, America wanted to be the most powerful nation in the world and won't back down. It started with Woodrow Wilson who wanted this plan. He thought of creating the Leauge of Nations which we never became part of and soon Harding, Cooledige, and Hoover were in the White House and they were more for the rich rather than for the Americans. After World War II, Truman basically shed off the Socialist views that FDR had by having conflict with the Korean War.

In my opinion...Bush is a New Englander trying to be a Texan. And that made him into... http://www.inthe00s.com/smile/12/dark1.gif

I think it is a mistake to regionalize greedy rich people.  It isn't that bush is a New Englander, it is that he is an wealthy, self-centered, condescending idiot, and would be no matter where he came from.

BTW-Many people will try to put Bush in the President Oblivion once 2009 arrives.

Well true, but how many Americans are willing to believe that he was a tight fisted president that left no one any room to breath?  American history has a bit of a selective memory when it comes to what it wants to be remembered for .

The thing about Adams is that he was well aware of his faults and admitted them.  I have a much more admiration for him than for Washington or Jefferson. Can't imagine how they could live with themselves.
