Subject: McCain's VP

Written By: MrCleveland on 04/26/08 at 8:53 am

Who will it be?

I'm hoping that he could get George Voinavich, the former mayor of Cleveland who helped that city get out of that "Mistake on the Lake" saying.

But then again...Cleveland is the George W. Bush of American cities.

Thought Buffalo was the "Mistake on the Lake."
???

Anyway, some are speculating it'll be Huckabee, but I doubt it.  Huckabee won't help McCain win the North.  Romney might be a better choice.

I have nightmares about it being Sarah Parlin.  Scariest Republican chick I can think of, second only to Ann Coulter.

Dick Cheney? Well, why not, he has been pulling all the strings anyway, and if he feels like it he will pull this one.  Regardless, we have not seen the last of him.

No doubt about it. And if Hellary or Obama give him (Or Bush) a position in the White House or anything like that, then I know that it's all in the game. (Woodrow Wilson did the same thing to William Taft.)

Reverend Wright!  There's a way for McCain to throw a spanner in the works!

Huckabee is bucking for it. Can you say, "Brown noser"? McCain would be a fool to chose him.

That would indeed be scary. I hope that the last we see of him, he will be in an orange jumpsuit along with Dubya.

I'm hoping that he could get George Voinavich,
i'm hoping it doesn't matter  :D

i have a feeling he'll pick someone ideological, because the republican base is sorta not that into him so he'll want to pull in someone that will help him run further to the right.

someone suggested that whoever the demo nominee ends up being should pick wes clarke for vp. and that strikes me as a good idea.

Probably Romney...  He's wealthy, the social conservatives like him, and he's a scheming bastard.

Cheney will get another heart attack and die when he hears that a Democrat won.

Bush on the other hand may or may not be that lucky.

That is provided the fact that Cheney even HAS a heart.

I'm expecting Cheney to declare himself VP for life, and I am expecting that Congress will ok it.

I'll agree on that one. You know how many heart attacks Cheney had? The maximim attacks are usually two, not four or five.

And as a matter of fact...Donald Rumsfeld is being tried for war crimes as we speak. Will his new home be called Guantanamo Bay?

In my honest opinion...Pelosi is the Lion. She hasn't had the guts to put Bush's ass on trial.

And Condolezza is Dorthy, Hellary is the Wicked Witch, and In my honest opinion...Bush could be the Wizard as well. (In the end, the wizard is real lousy at his job and is a real coward so he hides underneath a curtain.)

And who would Obama and McCain be...?

This is a real good idea, the Political Wizard of OZ. Anyone else thought of this?

If you live in a city that had no Championship for 44 years and counting...then yes, you're in the George W. Bush of cities. (And some people deny it too.)

Boston Red Sox won the World Series in 1918....it took 'em 86 years to win it again!
