Pretty interesting item I heard about years ago, Nancy Pelosi, as a guest on the Larry King show, was confronted when she last was on and said she had a plan to deal with the high price of gas and when he asks her what happened, she brushes it off as George Bush was relected and she throws out the figure- so now we're paying 2.60 for a gallon....UH..at that time she made that comment...GAS WAS $3.80......you think they're in touch now?
Again, both sides have their faults, this was just one demonstration.

wouldn't it have been in her best interest to overstate the gas prices as much as she could? i'm confused.
