Subject: Blame Canada: Sarah Palin vs. The Masked Avengers of CKOI

Written By: Foo Bar on 11/02/08 at 4:16 am

"In an over-the-top accent, one half of a notorious Quebec comedy duo claims to be the president of France as he describes sex with his famous wife, the joy of killing animals and Hustler magazine's latest Sarah Palin porno spoof.

At the other end of the line? An oblivious Sarah Palin."

The story is funny, but the MP3 is hilarious.  Everything from killing baby seals to putting lipstick on a pig.  I don't care who you're voting for, this is pure unadulterated win.

There isn't a P.M. of Quebec, there is a P.M. of Canada he is Richard Harper, it may have been she was being polite, but then maybe it should have been a tip off that something wasn't right.

FAKE SARKOZY: I was wondering, because you are so next to him, one of my good friends the PM of Quebec, Mr. Richard Serroi. Have you met him recently? Has he come to one of your rallies?

GOV. PALIN: I haven't seen him at one of the rallies, but it's been great working with the Canadian officials in my role as governor. We have a great cooperative effort there, as we work on all of our resource development projects. You know, I look forward to working with you and getting to meet you personally and your beautiful wife, oh my goodness; you've added a lot of energy to your country with that beautiful family of yours.

It was also pretty imprudent to add in comments about Sarkozys family situation since it has been pretty...imprudent...for a right wing diplomat.

The reason he said P.M. for Quebec is that in French, the Premier of a Canadian province is called the premier ministre, or Prime Minister, the same as the federal PM.

I can't believe Palin. If she's such a big fan, why couldn't she recognise Sarkozy's voice? Anyone who has ever heard Sarko speak would know that this impersonator was way off.

In France, the Right is a lot less nosy about politicians' private lives. There are no churchy, WASPy double standards in French politics.

France's Constitution explicitly declares it a secular republic, and virtually everyone takes this very seriously, especially the Gaulliste Right. You are likely to find just as many avowed atheists and anti-religious people in the UMP (Sarko's party) as you would in the Socialist Party ranks.

Yes, but the are churchy, waspy, double standards are spouted by Mrs Palin and everyone familiar with this strain knows anyone serious about this would not acknowledge the 2nd(or is it 3rd) Mrs Sarkosy in polite society.  I myself don't care who is doing who since they all seem to be doing someone else.  I wonder if Mrs. Palin is aware of that little international scandal, or if she is oblivious to that as she is to everything beyond baked Alaska.
