Because that was how many, were at the 9/12 march. Not a million. Between 60,000 and 70,000.
There were probally more getting tickets to see, Jonas Brothers, than there were at the protests!

They were the people who could afford to get to Washington, probably not crippled with the cost of keeping a loved one alive and out of pain.

Those sixty thousand confused souls on the Mall on 9/12 were not revolutionaries, just bullies and crybabies from comfy suburban homes. If they had to face the mortal perils confronted by true revolutionaries, they'd pee their pants and run home to mommy so fast you'd hear a sonic boom!
