A judge ruled today that the criminal charges against Anna Nicoole Smith's "friends" and "doctors" will proceed to trial.

I am glad to see the authorities pursuing these charges. We see far too many situations where celebrities (who may be mentally unstable) are misused by leeches who suplly them drugs and whatnot, just so that they can associate with the rich and famous.
I do not know if this trial will deter anybody else from doing these dastarly things, but if nothing else these jagoffs will see some punishment. >:(

Howard Stern was using the drugs to control her plan and simple. The guy needs to be convicted and put away.

If you're crazy (MJ) or stupid (Anna Nicole) and you have $100 million in the bank, you can write your own ticket even if it leads to your own demise. I wish some responsible lawyers could have just stepped in and set up trust funds for both MJ and and Anna Nicole, but if you're an emancipated adult, there's not much our system can do to prevent your self-destruction, not if you're super-rich.
I hope they can find a way to put some of the scumbags in prison who contributed to the untimely deaths of both Jackson and Smith, but only if the courts can prove the suspected parties committed crimes.
