Rush has a panel of screeners who know how to weed out callers who are going to nail him. That caller named April got through because they could tell he could run roughshod over her, which he did. As long as the toe the party line, even the most pea-brained dittoheads go unchallenged. That's how propaganda works and that's why I stopped listening to Rush back in the '90s. The guy was basically reading press releases from Newt Gingrich's office and cheering on dopes who blindly agreed with him. After a while, it gets boring. If Limbaugh was a George Will or William F. Buckley type of conservative who demanded people THINK even if they were on his side of the argument, his show might be remotely interesting.
The right-wing show their true colors on Haiti as they did on Katrina. If the majority of the victims are poor and black, fuggem!
