Subject: Hey Russkies, Nice Work !

Kudos to the Russian Navy commandos who successfully boarded and freed the Russian-owned oil tanker, the Moscow University.  8)

The pirates have been captured and are being hauled back to Russia to face justice.

Glad to hear that the Russkies, like the Americans, do not have a "catch and release" program for hijackers.

Nice work guys...  :)

To say the least, there won't be any  heming and hawing about whether or not the pirates are entitled to Miranda rights!

Hey, I got no problem with "Catch and Release".

Just so they release them around 25 miles from shore, without their boat.

Now that would be just harsh.  But it's pretty close to what the Russians did, except they were even kind enough to leave them with the boat.  The Russians didn't kill 'em, the ocean killed 'em.  As they say... Nature is a mother...

And if we're to believe the latter report:

Low road: "And nothing of value was lost."
Middle ground: "Spetznaz: When it absolutely, positively, has to be killed overnight."
Middle road with misattributed but appropriate historical reference: "No man, no problem!"
High road with actual quote from last week: "The ocean will take care of this on its own if it was left alone and left out there. It's natural. It's as natural as the ocean water is."
