it's kind of sad watching the right spin it.
John McCain posted to his twitter account that we should "thank Bush" for this. He's tweeted that we should blame Obama for the failure as well. So I'm just guess it depends on how positive the news is, as to who to blame/thank for it.
Bush did sign the drawdown papers, but I doubt very much he would have pushed for the order if John McCain looked to be winning back in the summer of 2008. It's a win-win for them. If it didn't work, they'd blame Obama. If it did, they'd still blame Obama and claim success.
