They're saying Brown is an an old hack with oodles of experience and Whitman is an ex-Auctioneer with money to burn and no sense of political reality.  I'm more enthusiastic about Brown and Brown can beat Whitman so long as he's willing to say ugly stuff about her -- only the true ugly stuff.
