Subject: Tea Party For Kids!

Written By: JamieMcBain on 10/05/10 at 9:25 pm

Hey Kids!  Feel angry that the government is marginalizing you?  That the President is some big monster bully, bent turning turning your country, into a Marxist, leftist, Liberal, Socialist empire?  That there is no group, out there as angry as you?

Let The Tea Party, and it's coloring book, help explain things to you!

Now, junior, if we give your daddy a tax cut, he's not going to spend it on a new bike for you.  He's going to blow it at the t*tty bar on Tuesday afternoon!

Maybe it's not a good time to tell the kids, that the Tea Party, thinks that Dora The Explorer, is an illegal immigrant!

With a bang (BANG!), say goodbye to everything!
Your complete annihilation is the reason he came!
And a pow (POW!), he's wipin' everything out!
Turn your whole f*bleep*kin' world into a mushroom cloud,
And a boom (BOOM!), it's your inevitable doom!
Nobody escapes and everybody's consumed!

ICP would have these record signings and these 12-year-old boys would come up, and ICP would say, "Yo! You started smokin' weed yet?  Gotta start, my man!"

Bill Orally asked them what if a child starts abusing drugs because you told him to smoke marijuana?

ICP replied, "Then he's real stupid!"

Those guys were, you know, philosophers kings, and whatnot!

And no, greasepaint STILL looks terrible over a beard!

Yeah, but we're the only ones here who are old enough to appreciate Tom Lehrer's cold war humor, so I went with the lowest common denominator.

But just for you...

You too may be a big hero,
If you've learned to count backwards to zero,
"In Korean or Farsi, I can count down,
Now I play ICP," said DJ von Braun.

...and with apologies to Tom Lehrer.  :)

No, you're not.  Tom Lehrer rocked.  Who can ever forget "poisoning pidgens in the park"?

Don't forget Zappa!

"Mister America walk on by your schools that do not teach,
Mister America walk on by the minds that won't be reached,
Mister America try and hide the emptiness that's you inside"

--Hungry Freaks Daddy

That coloring book reminds me of children's books published by Marxist-Leninist presses.  Just sort of dumbed-down, unsubtle propaganda.  I call 'em like I see 'em.

And now for something completely different, Tom Lehrer's The Elements, performed in Japanese!

(Some elements in '59 were not yet known to Harvard / but after 50 years, we've added all that we've discovered!)
