a young woman can scale one in less than 20 seconds... I've seen people take longer to cross a speed bump in a parking lot.

I don't know... I actually don't mind this approach in one respect. Only a somewhat athletic person can manage that. If this means only the healthier, fitter illegals cross, I don't have a problem with that.
That being said, I realize these fences don't stop tunnelers.
Amnesty is coming soon anyway, so the fences are just an expensive moot point.
