Subject: Ronald Reagan Jr.

Written By: MrCleveland on 01/22/11 at 6:06 pm

The now outspoken son of Ronald Reagan, who isn't like his dad when it comes to politics...has revealed that his dad was beginning to show Alzheimers...when he was in office!

It's seen in Ron's book "My Dad At 100"...even his brother Michael has renounced his opinions, and if his dad was 100, this is what he would say to Ron Jr.....

Common knowledge, and documented, that Reagan had episodes of confusion.  He spoke of things he had done, when they were actually parts he played in movies.

Wait, you mean all those times during Iran-Contra, that he said "I do not recall", "I do not have the answer", and so on, he was actually telling the truth?

Hmph!  I believe apologies are forthcoming :)

That is not necessarily a sign of Alzheimer's.  As an example I offer myself... when I am in a big rush, it is not unusual to not be able to recall the names of people I've worked with for years.  Was a tad embarassing back in 1998 when my company hosted a visit by some General Motors execs and I could not remember my boss' name when I was doing the intros.  :o

There also was a famous porn star who genuinely mixed up memories of what (or who) he had done in real life and on film, but he also did not have Alzheimer's.

If he didn't have it he surely acted like he did (and don't call him Shirley)
