They struck a blow for freedom by killing Quadaffghy's three young grandchildren in a residential neighborhood.

Upon hearing the news, rebels hit the streets shouting "God is Great" and uulated in celebration.

Vive la revolucion..  :-[

After having targeted Gadhaffi's family, killing his son and three grandchildren in a bombing run in a residential area, NATO countries are now upset and wondering why the Libyan government did not protect the British and Italian embassies in Tripoli, which were ravaged by mobs after word of the attack on Gadhaffi's family got out.

NATO had zero moral high ground at the onset of its interference in Libya, and it continues to show its true colors.  Increasing numbers of Libyans are being killed due to (a) prolongation of hostilities due to the NATO intervention, and (b) direct hits by NATO ordnance on civilians in botched attacks or (as is the case here) deliberate strikes on civilians.

This whole operation is about "getting getback" at Quadaffi and has little to do with protecting civilian life.  :-[
