Appears that Mayor Villaraigosa has directed that the campers clear out by Monday. He predicts that the eviction will not involve violence; let's hope so.
Former LAPD chief Daryl Gates is probably rolling in his grave, wishing he could be in on the action. ;D

Absolutely! This I know firsthand because it's local; I've been seeing it on the news. People are being instructed to leave the area, but some just aren't budging.
