Subject: Arlen Spectre - 'Cry Me a River'

Saw this article in the news today and it gave me a good chuckle.  Former US Senator Arlen Spectre (also known as 'One Bullet') has written in his memoirs how he got screwed over by Harry Reid and President O'bama after he jumped ship from the Republicans.  ;D

For once I can agree with both Reid and O'bama... Spectre got what he had coming.  He was a turncoat, they knew it, and those two guys were not gonna rally around him other than a little lip service, and the Dems certainly were not gonna hand over senior committee memberships to him.

Once Spectre announced his switch to the Democratic party he had pretty much shot his wad.  The Dems didn't need him any more, and the Repubs were never gonna take him back.  Oh well, his goose had been cooked anyway.  He would not have won the party nomination for another run as a Repub regardless.
