Subject: Big eyeglasses?

Lately, around my campus I've seen several people, both male and female, wearing big eyeglasses ala the eyeglass frames of the late 80s-mid 90s. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this and if you guys think this will be a 2010s trend, since there's beginning to be a wave of general late 80s to early/mid 90s nostalgia?

The last pic, the one where the guy has both big glasses and the mullet, make me wonder why either fad went away. ;D

I like my glasses, regular sized. I had big glasses once, hated wearing them.

Eyeglasses look right on the right people. I have to wear glasses for reading, but mine are small and silver and rarely seen as I don't really wear them outside my home.
When I was younger, I wore big red framed glasses like Kellie Martin in Life Goes On.

I had these, and picked them out at 7 years old in 1993.... ??? What made me think this was a good look.
The only time you'll see me in big frames is when I'm rocking my shades ala Nicole Richie.
